Lily is your Privacy Pathfinder. Her research in usable privacy explores how individuals navigate the digital landscape. Using Endsley's model for Situational Awareness, she assesses the effectiveness of interventions like privacy nudges to help users make helpful privacy decisions. Lily Edinam Botsyoe is a PhD student in Information Technology; part of UC’s inaugural Presidential Fellowship Program; and a former adjunct instructor. She is an ardent contributor to technology communities and speaks widely on issues relating to the internet with a particular interest in women and youth inclusion, accessibility, cybersecurity, privacy, and digital sustainability. She has experience working with security frameworks and regulations such as GDPR, ISO27001, and NIST 800. As a believer in the power of technology to accelerate development, her work focuses on human-centered approaches to building technology that ignite real impact for users.

About The Speaker:

Caleb Ogundele currently serves a Member, Board of Trustee of the Internet Society. As someone who has worked in the technology sector for many years and served on a couple of enterprises and not-for-profit boards, He understands the potential of that small medium business faces when it comes to cybersecurity. Caleb possesses several industry/professional certifications as well as two master’s degrees in Computer Systems and Information Science both from the University of Ibadan.

Wisdom Donkor is a highly respected and accomplished professional with over 20 years of experience within government, civil society and private sector specializing in e-government network infrastructure, e-government application, Open Data, Geospatial technologies and cyber information Security expert. Wisdom is a member of the ICANN GNSO Council member, Member of the United Nations Internet Governance Multistakeholder Advisory Group (UN-IGF MAG), UN-ECA Africa WSIS review working group member and several other working groups. Wisdom currently works with the Africa Open Data and Internet Research Foundation (AODIRF) a leading African-based non-governmental organization and co-founder of the transformative Africa Community Internet Program (ACIP) with Syracuse University and a convener of the Africa Geospatial Data and Internet Conference (AGDIC).
